Stolt Sea Farm es socio de un nuevo proyecto europeo, AQUAFAAANG; cuyo objetivo es mejorar la resistencia a posibles dolencias de los peces adquiriendo así, mayor robustez.
Plazo de ejecución: desde mayo de 2019 a mayo de 2023.
Lugar ejecución: nuestras instalaciones de Quilmas (A Coruña) .
El objetivo es la salud y robustez de los peces de cultivo, gracias a la mejora de la resistencia a posibles dolencias.
El 26 de Mayo de 2022 tuvo lugar la visita a la granja de Vilán de un equipo formado por 22 investigadores de diferentes instituciones de referencia en el sector a nivel mundial.
Esta visita guiada estuvo apoyada por parte del equipo de Stolt Sea Farm de Vilán, y guiada por Ana Riaza (Directora de I+D) y nuestro Director de Sostenibilidad (Carlos Tavares).
Para su desarrollo el proyecto cuenta con un consorcio de investigación formado por los siguientes centros de investigación:
